Coastlands children are better off than most. Your children can either be bused directly to good Whakatane schools, cycle via the walking/cycle track into town or attend the on-site private school.

Coastlands children have the option of attending the Coastlands Early Childhood Learning Centre in Fishermans Drive and Rangitaiki Independent School which is located in Meadow Vale Coastlands.
 The Coastlands Early Childhood Learning Centre provides an excellent environment for the development of children two years and over. While Rangitaiki Independent School caters for children from Year 1 to Year 10 and has been established with the goal of providing a strong philosophy of independent learning and small class sizes.
